Design Thinking Process Part 1

Design Thinking Process Part 2

Together with other doctoral students we will explore concrete issues in the area of energy and actively participate in a Design Thinking process at this year’s Summer Edition Graduate Symposium (June 20th, 2022). The mix of people from different backgrounds, the opportunity to be creative or even a little bit crazy and the relevance of the topic will make this an amazing experience. In one day, we will hear from energy companies and understand their challenges, form teams, define a relevant problem and then develop, prototype and pitch a solution.

What is a Design Thinking Process?

You and your team will experience a full cycle of the Design Thinking methodology and apply a human-centered innovation mindset to create solutions for our future energy system. Based on the core principles of empathy, collaboration and agility, Design Thinking offers a problem-solving approach that puts actual needs and pain points of affected stakeholders at the core.
