ESC welcomes Dr. Petrissa Eckle and Dr. Turhan Demiray as new members

The Energy Science Center (ESC) is delighted to welcome Dr. Petrissa Eckle and Dr. Turhan Demiray as members of the competence center. Petrissa Eckle leads the Sustainability in Business Lab (sus.lab) at ETH Zurich and Dr. Turhan Demiray is research director of the Research Center for Energy Networks (FEN).

external pageSus.lab is a team at the Chair for Sustainability and Technology, focusing on supporting stakeholders in industry and the public sector with decarbonization and the circular economy, based on the latest research. Petrissa has been leading the lab since 2017, she holds a PhD in Physics from ETH Zurich, and worked in energy systems analysis at PSI for three years, as well as in consulting at McKinsey for five years.

FEN is an ETH Zurich research unit that provides answers to currently relevant questions in the domain of production, transportation and distribution of energy with a focus on electrical networks. Turhan holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from ETH Zurich. Prior to his role at FEN, he worked for NEPLAN AG as a senior engineer and project leader responsible for algorithm development for power system analysis and studies.
