Kirsten Oswald joins the ESC as Science Outreach Manager

The Energy Science Center (ESC) is very pleased to welcome Kirsten Oswald to the executive team. Kirsten joined the ESC as Science Outreach Manager responsible for knowledge transfer activities.

Before joining the ESC, Kirsten Oswald worked as Project Manager at the external pageSCCER Mobility, a national competence center with the goal of developing technologies and solution pathways towards a net-zero Swiss mobility system. There she was responsible for communication efforts as well as managing outreach projects and programs for supporting young scientists in the network. From 2019-2020 Kirsten was also Program Manager of the continuing education program MAS ETH Future Transport Systems. Along with the overall coordination, she worked closely with internal and external lecturers to further develop the course content.

At the ESC as Science Outreach Manager, she will be responsible for initiating and managing knowledge transfer activities. The aim is to foster an exchange between the ESC and sectors outside academia to ensure that important research results reach appropriate target groups in industry and government.
