Successful completion of MEST Case Studies course 2021/2022
During two semesters, the Master in Energy Science and Technology (MEST) students had the opportunity to work on real-world problems currently faced by companies within the energy sector.
The challenges related to building a sustainable energy system for the future normally require interdisciplinary teams, thinking and solutions: the MEST Case Study course covers some of the technical, economic and regulatory aspects of this challenge. The course provides the students with the opportunity to meet industry experts and understand the challenges they are facing, find innovative solutions to relevant real-life problems in the energy sector and get feedback.
The students' hard work in 2021 and 2022 paid off and the exciting results were presented in May 2022 during the final presentations. Awards for the best project and for the best presentation of the Case Studies 2021/2022 were awarded to the two teams.
